The Best Games to Play on Your Laptop

Game 1: Heroes of Might and Magic - the best games

The initial game we shall take a look at is Heroes of Might and Magic. This video game has become a great favorite of mine on both the desktop and the laptop. I think most laptops can enjoy all versions of Heroes of Might and Magic without much problems.

Once you get into it the game itself is very addictive and I promise you will be playing "just one more turn". A good thing, needless to say, are the low system requirements which means you don't need a super duper laptop to try out it. And did I mention it is quite addictive and includes high replay value?

Game 2: Bard's Tale / Wasteland

The Bard's Tale and Wasteland are two traditional computer role-playing video games which can be extremely appropriate for laptops. They may have immensely low system requirements, being almost twenty years old. But don't be deceived, these are generally solid games with solid content. You will be addicted to the storylines as well as in-depth character development. Before Diablo, there were RPGs such as these which gave me countless hours of fun on the PC.

Game 3: Civilization 3

Another excellent strategy game, Civilization 3 is definitely the product of the great game maker, Sid Meier. The game is about empire building from the dawn of time up until the current day, to help you think of the large number of weapons and technologies it is possible to research and set into use through the game. Great game rich in replay value and absolutely gorgeous graphics and cut-scenes.

Game 4: Lode Runner

A nice traditional arcade favorite, Lode Runner was a huge hit in the 80s. It is possible to listen to it easily on your own laptop and get lost for several hours. You control just a little man who can "zap" elements of a floor off to save himself from different challenges. The amount are really interesting that you should try it out to understand the degree of thought and depth that went into their design.

Game 5: Jagged Alliance 2

The last game within this list is Jagged Alliance 2. This is a great "mercenary gunmen" game, which includes a deeply involved tactical combat system. Consider M-16s, AK-47s, grenades and other weapons of destruction which you can assign and buy to your individual mercenaries. You get to deploy them on dangerous tactical squad level missions and I can tell you, this video game is addictive in every single sense of the phrase.

Conclusion

So as you can see, there are really many games that you can choose to play on your laptop. If it is a little slow or beyond the times, my advice is to go for low system requirements so that your laptop can play it even. You should go for the latest widescreen laptops if you want to play state-of-the-art 3D games. Whatever the case, here's wishing you a great laptop gaming experience, and happy gaming! - the best games
